Important Alzheimer's findings by MIVAC researchers

In collaboration with scientists in Cambridge, MIVAC researchers Wolfgang Hoyer, Iris van Dijk Härd, Bertil Macao and Torleif Härd have discovered a molecule that can prevent a toxic protein involved in Alzheimer's disease from building up in the brain. The study was published in March 2010 in PLOS Biology.
