Project: Tracking immune cells that exit the intestine following oral vaccination

Project title: Deciphering the Role of Dendritic Cells in Mucosal Vaccination.

Aim: Determine the relative roles of the mucosal epithelium and the underlying phagocytes in achieving immunity after mucosal vaccination with different adjuvants/vaccines and use this knowledge to target vaccines to the most appropriate cell.
